The Office of International Programs (OIP) serves as the central hub for students who want to participate in the global opportunities offered by Austin College. The OIP primarily facilitates study abroad programs, offers resources for incoming international students, and leads Global Living Learning Community (GLLC) programming.
The OIP is located in the Wright Campus Center, Room 204, and is open for visits M-F 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Study Abroad
At Austin College, students have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester, a year, and/or a summer to more than 60 countries. The most appropriate options are individualized for each student’s academic needs and interests with the assistance of the Director of International Programs.
International Students
Incoming international students can find their home base on campus at the OIP, where resources are made available to make their stay more comfortable and assist in their overall success.
Austin College GLLC
The Global Living Learning Community (GLLC) gives first-year students the unique opportunity to live with a co-hort of globally-minded peers in a suite-style residence hall. Students engage in international activities on campus and with the local community in preparation for participating in Austin College global programs in their subsequent years.
International JanTerm/MayTerm
International January Term and May Term courses give students the chance to travel with AC faculty and fellow Roos to immerse themselves in global perspectives. Students can choose from a variety of offered courses around the world to learn about topics inclusive of any interest, major, or minor.
